The Brno Expat Centre invited Prof. Dr-Habil. Petar Varbanov (Brno University of Technology) to meet the Mayor of Brno and representatives of the City Council. The meeting took place on 2nd February 2023, in the Brno City Hall, Dominikánské náměstí 1, 602 00 Brno.
Prof Varbanov took part in the official programme of the meeting and, within the networking part of the event, had meetings with the Mayor and more discussions with advisors to the Mayor and representatives of the City Council. Prof Varbanov also conveyed that the city authority representatives will be welcome at the RESHeat Workshop to be held in November 2023 as a main event of the 7th SPIL conference.
After the official part, there was a networking session, where all visitors had the opportunity to meet each other, as well as the organisers and representatives of the city management. Prof. Varbanov had the chance to meet the Mayor.
